Students from the University of Navarra visit the PRS headquarters in Tajonar
The students of the double degree in Biology and Environmental Sciences of the University of Navarra in the subject «Soil and waste treatment» have visited the PRS headquarters located in Tajonar. The Industrial Director, Julián Gómez, explained to the students the Circular Economy solution that PRS offers to companies: a repair service for transport packaging made of plastic. Thanks to this service, companies achieve economic savings of around 70% and a reduction in the carbon footprint 187 times less than the next best alternative from an environmental point of view, which would be recycling and its subsequent replacement.
Plastic Repair is a Navarran company, with an experience of more than 8 years in the market, leader and pioneer in the repair and maintenance of goods made of plastic. The PRS repair method is certified and patented. The company has important recognitions such as the Innovative SME Seal, the European Commission Seal of Excellence, the European Environment Award (EBAE) in Spain, as well as a Second Prize in the European phase. The EBAE represent the highest distinction both at national and European level in environmental matters. The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No. 880032.[:]
