PRS heads the Navarre Circular Economy catalog
The catalogue compiles 20 examples of leading companies from Navarre in Circular Economy
Plastic Repair System 2011 S.L. (PRS), a company specialized in plastic repair by welding, heads the list of the 20 Navarre organizations with circular business models that make up the “Circular Navarre Catalogue”. These entities also have in common the interest shown in international collaboration, especially their participation in consortia that present proposals for R + D + i projects, such as the call for Horizon 2020 – Green Deal, currently open.
The catalogue promotes the “Navarre In Europe” strategy of the General Management for External Action of the Government of Navarre. The objective is to publicize the initiatives from Navarre that are already moving towards the circular economy within the framework of the European Green Pact. The document will be integrated into the repository of good practices of the Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform, which aims to promote and centralize knowledge and the exchange of experiences in circular economy in Europe.
Environmental commitment
Plastic Repair System, member of the Lean & Green platform, is a company that supports sustainability, helping other companies to save plastic and to reduce their carbon footprint. The CO2 emission when repairing a plastic container or a plastic pallet is 187 times less than recycling it. Just in 2019 PRS repaired more than 100.000 products, what it means more than 1.600 tonnes of plastic recovered and a retention of Co2 of more than 7.100 tonnes of CO2.
